SCHOOL HISTORY
St. Paul’s Public school, Managed by the Sisters of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel of Nirmala Province, Thrissur is a CBSE co –educational school started functioning in the year 2005 as there was a demand for a CBSE School by the local people. It is administered by the St. Paul’s Educational and Charitable Trust. The basic set of buildings was built in 2005 and was inaugurated by Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, Archbishop of Thrissur. In 2007 Foundation stone for the new school building was laid by Rev. Fr. Raphel Vadakkan, Vicar General. The construction work progressed through the years. The school building stretches over 2.5 acres of land. The serene atmosphere, the open- air auditorium cum indoor stadium, the well equipped science labs, the computer labs, the resourceful library, multimedia rooms, prayer room, etc make the school one of its kind. It is indeed a school with a difference. The school has opened its gates to its first batch of pupils in June 2005. The school started its journey with a small crew under the Captainship of Rev. Initially there were many hurdles to cross and the school was finally provisionally affiliated to CBSE as a Secondary school in 2006. 12 Teachers joined the school at the beginning and made enormous contributions to the school in its infancy. At the initial stage we had classes from VI th to VIII th .
The school has classes from LKG to XII. In the year 2010 the school was upgraded as Senior Secondary school with Science stream. We have been achieving cent per cent results since the first batch of class X in 2009 – 10 and class XII in 2011 -12 in the CBSE Board Examinations. The newly constructed school building was blessed by Mar Andrews Thazhath, Archbishop of Thrissur. The school was declared a Minority Educational institution in the year 2011 by National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, New Delhi. We also groom the inherent talents and potentialities of students. To enhance the co- scholastic skills 6 clubs are functioning in the school.
We enable the students to experience the joy of giving and to extend a helping hand to the needy. We are a part of Nallapadam project of Malayala Manorama. The school has won several district level and school level awards for Nallapadam and Agriculture. We train our students to face challenges in the day today life. Celebrations at our school are different by the presence of differently able people and people from various walks of life. Thus our aim is to produce global citizens.
